Creating Positive Impact Together
OUR COMMITMENT TO
Community, Sustainability & Opportunity
At Pugh, our mission is to empower organisations through technology, innovation and partnership. That same approach underpins our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. We believe meaningful impact comes from long-term investment in people, communities and ethical business practice.
Whether we are helping young people develop future ready skills, supporting local charities or strengthening small organisations with technology and training, our goal remains the same: to create positive, inclusive and sustainable growth across Wales and beyond.

OUR COMMITMENT TO
Employment & Internal Development
We are committed to creating opportunities within our region by recruiting locally, offering apprenticeships, university placements and work experience routes, and supporting initiatives such as Careers Wales events, the Aberystwyth University Careers Festival, GoWales and the Darogan Talent Graduate Fair. Many participants have progressed into permanent roles at Pugh, helping to retain valuable skills and talent in Ceredigion.
We invest heavily in developing our team through Pugh funded training and professional qualifications across Microsoft, Adobe, Sophos, IoD, CMI, CIM, AAT and AVIXA. Regular staff events and community aligned activities help maintain a positive culture centred on wellbeing, growth and social value.
CARU CEREDIGION

Our commitment to developing skills and creating opportunities in Ceredigion has been formally recognised through the Creating Local Futures Award at the Caru Ceredigion Business Awards. This award highlights the long-term impact of our work in nurturing talent, supporting young people and contributing to sustainable economic growth within our local communities.
Our focus on staff development and digital skills has also been recognised nationally, with Pugh receiving Highly Commended in the IoD Wales Director of the Year – Skills Development category. This acknowledgment reflects our continued investment in professional growth, leadership capability and talent development.

SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE
Developing Youth Skills & Educational Engagement
Supporting young people is a longstanding commitment embedded in everything we do. Each year, we work with schools, colleges and universities to inspire students, build confidence, develop digital skills and broaden awareness of future careers in technology, creativity and bilingual workplaces. Our programmes include hands-on digital workshops, AI and creativity sessions, careers talks, Welsh language engagement, teacher development events and sector leading conferences. These initiatives help young people gain practical skills and clearer insight into the opportunities available in an increasingly digital future.

Engaging Schools and Colleges
We regularly support Careers Wales activities and school engagement programmes focused on future pathways. These include creative digital workshops at Ysgol Henry Richard, Tregaron, Welsh language workplace sessions at Ysgol Penweddig, Aberystwyth, and careers discussions at Coleg Ceredigion, Cardigan, helping learners understand routes into IT, AI, creative industries and modern workplace roles.

Wales Tech Week – Inspiring Future Talent
As part of Wales Tech Week, we contribute to the Talent4Tech Careers Zone, engaging with young people exploring digital and creative career paths. Our involvement helps students understand how technology, AI and bilingual skills are shaping modern workplaces across Wales and the opportunities emerging within the tech sector.
GIVING BACK
Charity & Community
Supporting our community is central to who we are. We believe meaningful impact starts locally by showing up, giving back and helping organisations thrive.
Each year, we invest time, sponsorship and hands-on support into community events, local clubs and voluntary organisations. Whether we’re helping football clubs grow, supporting families at local events, empowering voluntary groups with digital tools or contributing to national conferences, our aim is always to help communities access opportunity, technology and support that make a genuine difference.

Llanon Community Fun Day
We are proud to sponsor the CPD Llanon FC Community Fun Day, a vibrant local event that brings families and players together to celebrate football. It’s fantastic to see such strong community support and to watch the club continue to grow across both junior and senior levels.

Supporting Wales’ Voluntary Sector with WCVA
Our longstanding partnership with WCVA is a key part of our community work. We support charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises across Wales by helping them access the digital tools and guidance needed to work more effectively.
As regular supporters of gofod3, WCVA’s flagship voluntary sector event, we contribute not only as sponsors but as trusted collaborators. Together, we help organisations explore how modern technology, from Microsoft 365 and Copilot AI to creative and hybrid working solutions can enhance the vital services they deliver in communities every day.
EMPOWERING BUSINESSES
Business Support & Economic Growth
Supporting business and organisational growth is a central part of our mission. Beyond supplying technology, we empower teams, entrepreneurs and digital leaders through hands-on learning, collaboration spaces, strategic guidance and events that bring people together. Our goal is simple: to help organisations of all sizes unlock the benefits of modern technology and thrive in an evolving digital landscape.

Our Experience Centre – A Space for Collaboration & Modern Work
Our Experience Centre in Llanon provides a welcoming, practical environment where organisations can explore modern technology, attend workshops and take part in strategic discussions. It is used regularly for demonstrations, AI training sessions and events that encourage shared learning and real-world problem solving.

Fforwm TG – Supporting Wales’ Welsh Speaking IT Community
We are active members of Fforwm TG, the Welsh speaking IT professionals’ network. The group meets regularly to share knowledge and discuss emerging topics such as AI, cybersecurity and digital transformation. We are pleased to host sessions at our Experience Centre and support a community where collaboration and innovation can flourish.

Working with MSParc – Showcasing Welsh Innovation
Our collaboration with MSParc continues to grow through joint events, learning programmes and community projects. This includes delivering sessions and participating as panel members at the National Eisteddfod Technology Village, showcasing Welsh digital innovation on a national stage. We also support the MSParc Academi, offering placement and career opportunities to graduates, helping develop the next generation of digital talent.

Mentera Collaboration – Empowering Entrepreneurs Through AI
Through our partnership with Mentera, we support entrepreneurs and community organisations across Ceredigion and beyond. We deliver workshops for groups such as Sbarc Ceredigion and run taster sessions focused on practical uses of Microsoft Copilot and modern workplace tools, demonstrating how AI can enhance productivity, creativity and business growth.

Wales Week London – Championing Welsh Enterprise
As part of Wales Week London, we host and contribute to events that promote Welsh enterprise, creativity and digital transformation. Our sessions have included Adobe focused creative workshops, demonstrations of hybrid working and modern workplace technologies, helping organisations explore new tools and embrace digital opportunity.
OUR COMMITMENT TO
ESG Principles
Our CSR approach aligns closely with recognised ESG principles - Environmental, Social and Governance. Through our Sustainability Policy and environmental initiatives, we actively reduce our impact and support Wales’ journey towards Net Zero. Our community work, youth programmes, Welsh language engagement and support for the voluntary sector reflect our strong social values, while our governance standards, leadership training and alignment with the Microsoft Partner Pledge demonstrate our commitment to responsible leadership, ethical practice and secure, compliant operations.
Together, these efforts ensure that Pugh operates as a forward-looking organisation delivering positive, sustainable impact for customers, communities and future generations.
