Project Overview
Graeae Theatre Company, a pioneering and inclusive UK theatre organisation, set out to transform its building to better support staff, tenants, and community partners. The goal: to create modern, accessible hybrid meeting rooms that enhance collaboration and generate income through room hire.
The Challenge
Graeae’s leadership approached Pugh with a hardware wish list for new hybrid spaces. But they needed more than just equipment - they wanted expert guidance to ensure the solution would work for different room sizes, varied user groups, and hybrid collaboration, all within a Zoom-first, Microsoft Office 365 environment. Accessibility, ease of booking, and futureproofing for revenue generation were essential.
Our Approach
Rather than simply quoting for hardware, Pugh led a consultative discovery session with Graeae and their IT partner, ICT Partnerships. This ensured the final solution was tailored to Graeae’s unique needs. Our recommendation: a streamlined, scalable hybrid meeting ecosystem centred around the Yealink Meeting Board.
The Solution
Pugh delivered a complete hybrid-ready setup across multiple room types:
· Large Meeting Room: Yealink 65” Meeting Board, enhanced camera, wireless presentation pod, and integrated compute module.
· Smaller Meeting Rooms: Two iiyama 55” displays with Yealink Meeting Bars for video conferencing.
· Reception & Navigation: iiyama digital signage integrated with ROOMZ Flightboard to display a summary of all current and upcoming bookings as well as highlighting any available rooms.
· Room Booking: Four ROOMZ Display – wireless meeting room booking and availability panels, fully integrated with Microsoft Office 365, reducing admin and improving visibility.
An interactive remote session brought the solution to life for Graeae’s team, highlighting its capabilities and ensuring a seamless experience. All equipment was professionally installed by Pugh’s AVIXA-certified engineers, with ROOMZ providing onsite support for booking displays.
