Pugh is delighted to be again sponsoring the IT Systems Managers Annual Conference Wales.

The conference provides a unique opportunity for FE and Skills IT and ILT staff from all corners of Wales to meet with other sector colleagues and share ideas over a two day period in the idyllic surroundings of Gregynog Hall.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Enabling Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning’.

Eifion Evans from Pugh Computers will be hosting a session on the modernisation of Microsoft academic licensing with particular reference to Microsoft Campus. Eifion will explain the key changes and discuss the benefits and implications these changes may have for Colleges.

Alex Pearce from BFC Networks will be presenting, on behalf of Pugh Computers and Microsoft, on the Microsoft Teams implementation project at Neath Port Talbot College and their migration of Microsoft SharePoint to the cloud.

Security, data protection and the new General Data Protection Regulation, ISO 27001 will be discussed as well as current topics like the Welsh Language Standards.
