- Unique
'Insight modules' make it easy to understand how to process
information and make decisions in control systems. Instructions,
commands and decisions are all expressed in logically structured
control sentences using IPSL.
- The
program is approached using pictures to envisage the scenario
and necessary components. The control requirements are analysed
into simple, single-function, stages. The control logic
is defined in modules which display their function is IPSL
sentences that explain each part of the solution.
- The
solution is tested as a simulation on screen with out the
need for peripheral hardware.
- The
system can be built as a physical model, connected to the
computer via a control interface and controlled by Control
Insight.
- The
Insight Problem Solving Language describes technical control
functions in a pupil-friendly format and is designed to
help children analyse control problems into individually
executable control functions. IPSL sentences support the
principles of the literacy initiative in primary schools.
- A
simulation environment for solving control problems using
multimedia. The animated graphics and sounds are fully user-editable.
- A
'Systems' approach to designing solutions to control problems,
matching the requirements of the National Curriculum.
- Control
instructions expressed in plain English sentences, eliminating
the need to learn special code or syntax.
- A
