CF-100
The
Bloxx CF-100 is a standalone Internet Management Platform
designed for small organisations serving up to approximately
100 Internet users. The device is designed to fit directly
into a 10/100 Ethernet network. The Bloxx CF-100 provides
network administrators with a fast efficient tool to
enforce their organisations Internet policy, coupled
with an easy to administer reporting engine.

Filtering:
The
Bloxx CF-100 provides a comprehensive Internet filtering capability.
Three levels of filtering can be applied for maximum security.
- URL
Filtering The Bloxx CF-100
comes its own database of URLs divided into 20 common
sense categories. Incremental updates to the database are
automatically downloaded on a daily basis.
- URL
Scanning The requested URL is scanned for sequences
of keywords if a preset score is exceeded the URL is blocked.
The keyword list is user editable. This feature also allows
Search Engine queries to be filtered for searches of offensive
material.
- HTML
Page Scanning This enables
HTML pages to be dynamically scanned as they are downloaded
from the internet. This feature is particularly suited to
educational environments
where the need to protect children from offensive material
is paramount. The page scanning engine is extremely efficient
and does not cause any noticeable latency to Web access.

Downloads:
- Stop
potentially dangerous and bandwidth intensive files by group
or user type.
Management
Interface:
- The
Bloxx CF-100 is managed via any modern Web browser. Once
the initial IP configuration has been entered the box may
be entirely managed through the Web browser. All reports
are viewed via the Web interface.
