Customer Eligibility:

Pugh is pleased to announce that from 1st February 2008, Adobe has extended Education TLP and CLP to charitable organisations. TLP and CLP is available to charities which meet the below criteria*:

Charitable organisations which operate on a not-for-profit basis and whose aim is one or more of the following:

• Relief of poverty
  
• Advancement of education
  
• Advancement of social and community welfare
  
• Advancement of culture
  
• Advancement of the natural environment

*Only charities that meet the above criteria are able to buy education TLP or CLP. Any other class of charity must buy either Commercial or Government (if they qualify). If a charity does not meet the above criteria, but has a registered charity number, it can continue to buy Education box products.

How it Works:

Contractual Licensing Program (CLP)
This program provides larger organisations with a discount level over a two-year period based on an initial order of 6000 points. Customers sign a contract based on this initial order and there is no commitment to place any additional orders during the term. All orders during that term gain the same discount level as the initial order; however customers can qualify for further discount levels during the two year period as they accumulate points with additional orders.

Transactional Licensing Program (TLP)
Qualifying Establishments with smaller orders can still get the benefit of volume pricing with the TLP. The TLP is best suited to customers whose orders do not meet the minimum points level required for participation in the CLP. Gain discounts on new licenses each time your order exceeds the minimum required points level. TLP discounts are per transaction, so discount levels do not carry forward to future orders.

Adobe Open Option Points Levels:

Contractual License Program (CLP)**

• Level 1: Requires a minimum initial order of 6,000 points.
• Level 2: Requires a minimum of 20,000 points.
• Level 3: Requires a minimum of 50,000 points.

Transactional License Program (TLP)

• Level R: Requires an order between 1 - 999 points.
• Level S: Requires a minimum order of 1,000 points.
• Level T: Requires a minimum order of 5,000 points.

**Accumulative points count towards next discount level under CLP.

Concurrency

Often the number of users who have access to a product and the number of users who use it are not equal. Provided that the number of users who are using the software at one time does not exceed the number of licenses, the customer can license exactly the number of users who will be accessing it at one time. This is commonly referred to as Concurrency.
